Auto Sleeper Warwick
My 2018 Auto Sleeper water pump has seized, it is in the under slung tank, I am going away in the van for 3 nights. I can survive with bottled water ect until it is replaced, my question is will the heater work? I imagine that the water pump would be used to fill the boiler after being winterised. Am I correct in thinking this as I will need to take a heater with me, I am correct? Grateful for any info ,thanks.

What heating system do you have or do you mean boiler?
It is a Truma Combi 6E. Does the boiler have a sperate water system or does it fill from the water tank, I didn't want to burn the boiler element out by turning it on if it needs to be primed by the water pump.

What then heats up to push out warm air? Sorry for being ignorant about this!

When you get a new pump, get two.
We always carry a spare pump

We have found the 'life' of a pump is 2-3 years.
We carry the spare and it's fairly easy job (for a contortionist) to swap them over.
