Don't have it yet
Hey Funsters ☺️

So we have an issue in that when we turn on our water the pump is running continuously even when no taps are on. This is a new pump just installed in September and it didn't go this straight after install but started doing it out if the blue recently (not been using the van much since new install).

Any advice please?

It depends if it's a pressure switch that turns it off, or the taps each have a switch that turns it on when you reopen the tap. The latter is probably a faulty micro switch. The former a leak in the pipework, or faulty pressure switch.

You haven’t left the switch on on the outside shower attachment
If you have one that is ,
I sometimes left mine on by mistake and it will make pump run continuously ,
My van is a burstner ?

If you have done all the above, there's no leaks underneath or in cupboards and it's still running, take it back to the place where it was fitted.
It could be a duff pump? 🤔

Does sound like an air block, a good run of the kitchen hot tap may clear it. Have you checked the filter next to the pump is clear?

If its a sureflo type pressure pump it can run continuosly if it cant achieve the required pressure because of an air leak. A possible leak is a cracked filter cap (normally next to pump).

Agreed. We also had a problem of our Shurflo running continuously when the pressure switch and in-built bypass switch were incorrectly set. From memory, the bypass was set lower than the pressure limit switch so it never reached pressure to switch off. Once they were adjusted, everything works okay and the pump switches off when taps are closed.
Hope this helps.
