Any advice please? We thought we'd drained water thoroughly by running taps until empty and leaving them in open position while having opened frost valve to drain boiler. Electricity off of course.
After a severe freeze we refilled water tank and tried to draw water through system, both bathroom tap and kitchen tap together. It took forever to get spitting water. Then flow only improved with one tap shut. Each time air seems to fill top of water column in pipes.
Where is the problem? Is water pump damaged ( because we didn't realise you have to open valve on water tank, drain, then take van for trundle) and needs replacing? Or is pipework damaged somewhere and allowing air in? If the latter, how can it be traced?
Any suggestions or diagnoses out there?
Thanks
Carolyn
