Burstner I'm new
Help please - We have a Bürstner Harmony, t625, 2003, very low milage. We had a drip coming through one of the screws from the skylight on to the bed. It only started after my husband cleaned the roof with a new brush we got. We suspect it removed some worn sealant. We got it fixed immediately. The water ingress had run through to the bathroom ceiling, although it didn't have any leaks. It has left a small water mark, not that noticeable, but I know it is there. I am not sure what to use to remove/cover it. Can someone advise me please? Thanks in advance

Try clean cold water and a nail brush gently rubbing the area and wipe away with a microfibre towel.

I tried that with the microfibre, not the nail brush, I'll give it a go. Thanks Chris.

As ChrisL has said I tried that on another van I had and I had to more or less do the whole patch as I was chasing the “ring” of watermark but it does come out…

Yes, baby wipes. Soft and just enough soap to dissolve the stain without wetting. Some dealers use the old trick of painting over the panel with oil based undercoat

Thanks TheBig1, I was wary of going down the painting road.

This is what Bing's AI comes up with. No idea if it's safe or effective.

If you’re looking to remove water stains from your caravan ceiling, there are several home remedies you can use. Here are some steps you can follow:
  1. Distilled white vinegar: This is a natural stain remover that contains a small amount of acetic acid. This mild acid breaks down tough stains like watermarks to eliminate them. Mix equal parts of distilled white vinegar and water in a spray bottle and apply it to the affected area. Let it sit for a few minutes before wiping it off with a clean cloth 1.
  2. Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide: Mix 1/4 cup of baking soda with enough hydrogen peroxide to form a thick paste. Soak a sponge in the mixture and dab a thin layer on the stains. Let it sit for 3 hours before removing it 23.
  3. Bleach: Mix bleach and water in a spray bottle and apply it to the water stain. Let it dry and repeat if needed 4.
It’s important to address water stains promptly as they can lead to mold growth, which poses a risk to your health 1. I hope this helps!

When I had a stain from a spilt pop bottle in one of my autotrail over head lockers onto some cloth trim I used my sisters steamer thingy she uses for her cleaning. I put a bit of steam on it then dabbed it with a clean dry cloth drawing the stain out.
