Autosleeper Warwick
I have just bought a 2008 Auto-Sleeper Warwick Duo. It had a full habcheck, however we used it the first time this weekend and we have a serious water leak. It's not from rain it's from the internal water connections. It seems to be behind the toilet. In the first picture I have shown on the floor where the water is coming out from - basically underneath the bathroom back wall. I'm thinking a joint is leaking as it only leaks when the pump is on. I have no idea how to get to inspect any of these parts. On the wall behind the sliding door there are screws (blue arrows) that can be removed and I could remove the toilet access frame. Would I be able to remove that panel to get to the water pipes?

Fortunately I live very close to the Auto-Sleeper service centre - I have written to them too.

Start off by removing the toilet cassette and see what you can see.

When mine is removed I can replumb many parts on my van.

Did you buy from a dealer or privately?

If from a dealer then take it straight back.

I have drained it all now. I think I know how to get access to the pipes. I will try later today hopefully.

I can't get any of the panels off - very frustrating. Hopefully Auto-Sleeper will respond to me.
However.......I noticed when I opened the outside shower flap that the shower head and generally around it was very wet - maybe this is the cause as it's in the right area where the leak is originating. The tap seems like an odd one. It turns left and right for hot and cold and also up and down - not sure if the up and down is to turn it on and off - because the head has a trigger. Anyway, maybe when I was looking at it when we bought the van we didn't close the tap properly. Tomorrow I'll fill her up with water again and see how the outside shower works.

From what you are saying, it sounds as if you had not fully drained the system before the recent frosts. I did our van, thankfully, but forgot the dog shower in an enclosed box in the garden. Opened the box to find an exploded shower head. Ice can do a lot of damage to water pipes and fittings and if you hadn’t drained, your dealer is likely to point to the hab check and say all was well and expect you to pay the bill.

Your shower is not odd, standard fitting with a trigger head so that you can minimise water usage. Always empty fully, leave tap open in halfway position between hot and cold.

Thanks for the reply - it was fully drained during the recent frosts - but I will certainly be careful of this!

If the outside shower tap is closed and the trigger closed you can store water in the pipe and shower head, if it freezes the shower head can split, I know this from experience

Another thought, we had a seepage of water from under washroom wall once. It turned out to be from a blocked drain behind the tip up washroom sink. Do you have one of those that tips up and can be lifted out in the 45° position? If so check the drain behind it.

Yes, ours is like that too - I'll check.

Only leaks when the pump is running.

Had a problem with a similar wet floor; where the drop down sink tap was stiff in turning the spout it had rotated the push on connectors on the pipe, which fell off! Had to be shown the access hatch behind the toilet under the sink, blimey, you need a 2 foot long piece of string as a forearm to get up in there! Aaaargh I hate that bloody thing!

After draining down I used to take the van for a short drive, with all taps open of course, to dislodge any remaining water in the pipes. 👍
