Hi all
I have water coming in from the roof of my swift motorhome. I've looked on the roof & can't see anything obvious. Can anyone help send me in the direction of someone that could help me reseal the whole lot, in the Hampshire area, please ?

I've had two different leaks this winter. The first was (probably) the join between the flat roof panel and the front moulding. The exact cause was never identified. They just cleaned out and resealed anything and everything in that area.

The second leak was a solar panel. It had plastic feet, and also a screw though the roof in each foot. It seems likely that water got under one foot and froze. The sealant remained intact, but it ripped the screw out which started letting water in.

I took my van to a local dealer. I'm under the impression that they aren't keen on doing that kind of work because it quickly escalates. It takes days of labour and costs LOTS of money.

Assuming it's a Swift C-class rather than the very old A-Class Swift, if it comes throgh in near the the overcab, it might be like our Bessacarr where they forgot to fit the insulation above the ceiling in the overcab. The moisture then forms condensation on the underside of the outer skin in cold weather, and may even freeze. When you then heat the van and move it, it runs and comes through wherever it can. (In our case dowsing our stroppy grandchild at leaving Disney after a few days, in icy cold water. 😲)
