Probably the frost protection valve. It will be by your boiler/heater. If you check your manual it should show you where it is and how to reset it. They often have a blue elongated knob on to of a black body. Resetting it is usually turningin 9 degrees AND pressing the black button one of the long edges of the black body, in my experience with three vans, the button has never been visible, and you have to find it by feel.

As above, it sounds like the dump valve has tripped, when that is open the pump will run until the tank is empty ....... that was a learning by doing experience for me too .....

If it is the dump valve, and there are various versions, it is no good shutting it once if the ambient temperature is lower than the setting at which it is triggered to open.

Ours can be inhibited with a clothes peg, but don't fill and leave it like that in minus zero or you could split the boiler tank.

I stupidly left the manual at home can anyone point me in the right direction.

when you start to fill tank and switch on pump, it will try and fill the boiler first, if the frost valve is open obviously the water will run straight out of the boiler. Been there, done that  :giggler:

As said that is almost certainly the frost dump valve outlet .... try looking inside the motorhome directly abobe that outlet and you should see the lever (usually blue or yellow) which will need resetting ... may also be a button which you will pull up.

It'll be directly above the pipe that the water is coming out of.

My Truma was + 7 Degrees and + 3 if you installed the (optional extra) heating element.....mine lived in the boiler room and would on occasion stay un-tripped down to +1 .....
