Hi Everyone, I have a Bailey 79-4 motorhome, just wondering if anyone has connected the grey waste water outlet to a hose so it can lead to a drain whilst on a site, Thanks.

Hi Johnny, we have a Pilote also and looking for a way to dispose of the waste water , did you weld the bit that goes inside the tank and what length was the bit that you used , ours is right in the middle of the van and is so low that I can't get a waste tank under, it is a right pain in the arse a design fault I think . 740fc evidence.I have a Pilote and have connected some 40mm drain pipe and a 90 deg elbow to lead the waste to the side of the van. then let it drain into a wastemaster using another 90 deg elbow.

Plug it and add your own outlet where convenient?Hi Johnny, we have a Pilote also and looking for a way to dispose of the waste water , did you weld the bit that goes inside the tank and what length was the bit that you used , ours is right in the middle of the van and is so low that I can't get a waste tank under, it is a right pain in the arse a design fault I think . 740fc evidence.
I used the existing drain valve, connected a 90 deg elbow to the stub piece from the valve and then ran a length of pipe out to the side of the van in front of the gas bottle locker. The wastemaster sits at the side of the van and not underneath. All pipes are 40mm plastic drain pipes from B&Q (other diy shops are available)Hi Johnny, we have a Pilote also and looking for a way to dispose of the waste water , did you weld the bit that goes inside the tank and what length was the bit that you used , ours is right in the middle of the van and is so low that I can't get a waste tank under, it is a right pain in the arse a design fault I think . 740fc evidence.
Hi Gerby, I’d love to see photos of your adaptor as I think it would fix my problemHi Papa lazaroo we have a 2017 796 and I have a flexi pipe that I connect to the outlet via an adaptor that I leave permanently attached (the adaptor that is), my outlet tap is slightly loose so I can rotate it through 90 degrees so no issues with the slight increase in length of the outlet.
I can take a few photo's for you tomorrow if it will help just let me know (it's a bit dark at the moment)
Cheers. One of these https://colapz.co.uk/collections/flexi-waste-pipes/products/flexi-waste-pipe-adaptor connected to either the Colapz waste pipe system (easy to clean but bulky & expensive) https://colapz.co.uk/collections/flexi-waste-pipes or this budget option washing machine extendable hose https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/27301885...d=link&campid=5338547443&toolid=20001&mkevt=1 at £7.15 delivered. These two fit together well & are compact to storebut the long waste pipe is more difficult to keep clean.

Hi Gafferbeagle sorry I got tied up on stuff today and it slipped my mind, I will get SWMBO to remind me tomorrow when we get back from walking the dogs but feel free to remind me again if I ain’t done it by mid afternoonHi Gerby, I’d love to see photos of your adaptor as I think it would fix my problem
Cheersokay Papa lazaroo and Gafferbeagle here is my set up, pleas note I am able to turn my waste outlet through 90 degrees as the 90 degree joint by the waste tank is loose enough to do so without leaking when emptying, needless to say if you do yours the same I cannot guarantee it will not leak or come loose and fall out (though so far mine has been fine and I have done this for at least 2 years:
here are the links to Amazon showing what I used (I am pretty certain but it was 2 years ago so you may want to check the sizes are right for your van:

This is the flexible pipe I use

Here is the outlet with the connector insert I use in the position I have it whilst travelling the connector is a male on both ends, it takes quite a bit of "persuasion2 to go into the outlet from the valve but once I got it into place it doesn't move at all (or at least mine doesn't) the bend I refered to above is the one at the far end of the pipe as I said before it is loose enough to allow me to turn the outlet around but not loose enough to leak or fall out though if you use this method you will need to check yours is OK to do this.

I rotate it 90 degrees when emptying waste

if on service pitch or the emptying point is not drive over I just connect the flexi pipe, it is a bit tight but not too bad and only takes a few seconds
