Washers packed in today , I managed to get a contortionists view of the pump and it doesnt look good. Van is a 2019 Ducato

Looks like it. The pumps just push into a rubber grommet on the wash tank these days. Get yourself a new pump and give it a smear of silicon grease when you slide it in .

Mine recently gave up on the day before MOT. I ordered one from eurocarparts for 6-7 quid but it wasn’t in stock. So I chucked the old one on the dash and told the tester a new one was on back order.
Passed mot and fitted the day after.

Have you checked the fuse? My car's washer pump stopped working last week and it turned out to be it's fuse had gone (y)

After I saw the state of the pump and the water leaking from it I think a new pump is a good start point then go to the fuse if no joy
Looking at the rust marks on the pump I’d say you is correct in it has seized internally

2015 Peugeot car replaced the pump at 4 years, both front struts were warranty replacements at 2 years!

Hi guys, yes the pump was definitely goosed, our local motor factors had one in stock it was a couple of quid more than ebay/amazon but it's nice to shop locally if possible. As you guys advisd it was only 10 minutes to swap and didnt need the headlamp out either. Jobs like these are made easier by help from funsters.
