According to the C&MC website, we are entitled to a discount at Warwick Castle (we are about to stay at Warwick racecourse tomorrow).

I'll be damned if I can see how to get that discount on their app/website. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? It might just be the Prosecco ...

Been to the C&MC site and can't find it. It was available last summer but looks as though they've stopped it.
It looks like you'll get the best price from Warwick Castle's own website, good luck (y)

At least I'm not going mad :) The c&mc site still suggests a discount is available. Hey ho.

edit - from the c&mc site booking page :

The award-winning Warwick Castle is also within easy reach of the caravan site and with the pre-booking discount available through the Clubs Great Savings Guide, is a must-see as it's reputed to be the finest medieval castle in England

You probably find that, like many of the club's offers that you will need to stay a minimum of 3 nights :whistle2:

I just looked for the Great Savings Guide and just a headed page comes up. The website is terrible to navigate together with the rest of their systems. I just used my “free” night. Had to pay £20 up front when booking last December. Then pay balance of £12.30 when checking in. I gave my details for the free night but “computer not working “ in the reception.
Told to ring up head office next day for refund. Did that but they could only refund the deposit (after 20 mins on hold while they asked a manager) Told me to ring the site to get the remaining £12.50 refunded as “their systems are not connected”. What a palava.

When we first stayed at the Warwick Racecourse site, Jac & I decided to go to the castle. We didn’t go in after seeing the entry fee….. as I remarked at the time ‘we only want to look around, not buy the bloody place…..’!!!😉

IIRC you can get a discount if you have English heritage membership as well

That augurs ill for my two night sojourn this week. I've also paid my £20 deposit and am only expecting to pay another ten or twelve quid. I opted for a 'pay on arrival' so hopefully I won't have to jump through the same hoops.

Pay on arrival worked well for us.

At Warwick Racecourse atm…booked using my ‘free night’ from CAMC… when we checked in yesterday had to pay as the site is a managed one and the voucher isn’t applicable…. I actually called CAMC to check before I booked that I could use the voucher and was told yes so there’ll be another call to then tomorrow to complain 😤

ISTM that a lot of "offers" from CAMC are anything but. At least my visit last week reduced the £32.20 pn for two people to a sensible £16.10. Over thirty quid mid week in the middle of March!! They cannot be serious.

How did you get the free night? I have never been offered one.

It came in a email around sept last year…. a free night but you had to book before the end of the year and use before the end of march… never had one before

I think we got a concession with English Heritage but to be honest I wouldn’t have bothered. Very disappointed

Warwick Castle is pricey but worth it... As posted earlier, if you have Tesco Clubcard vouchers you can exchange them for double the value in coupons for Merlin attractions. We stayed at the CAMC last summer; convenience definitely outweighed cost...
