want solar panel upgrade help decide

hi i have a 280ah lithium and a 75/15 victron mppt controller there a 100w panel on my bailey autograph at the moment my question is what panel should i get to upgrade please
 
The largest one that space, budget and weight allows?

More solar - more harvest.
More batteries - more stored power.

Be warned your solar at 75/15 can only handle so much solar. 200 watts is capable in ideal conditions of over 15 amps?

Your 75/15 is rated at max 220 watts.
You could add another 100 watt panel in parallel thereby doubling your solar.
I run 2 x 115 watt panels in parallel, so 230 watts, through my 75/15 MPPT.
The most wattage I've seen produced is 204 watts and I haven't seen amperage above 14 amps.
Those are UK yield figures, I could probably get a little more yield in southern Europe.
 
I've just fitted 2 x 200w solar panels from Craig solar, also a Victron 100/30 mppt regulator. They are feeding my 280 Fogstar Drift and when it was sunny this week it was full in no time.
 
thanks guys ill get another 100w panel if i had thought it through instead of getting giddy id have got a bigger mppt ah well such is life

the one thats on is a truma 100w so if i get another the same it should be ok do i wire it paralell with the othe or in series wich is best

But when you go down the route of adding more Panels, you then need somewhere to store all of your harvest.
Being more flexible and more efficient you could buy a freestanding panel which will harvest and out perform your current 150w Panel when you experience a low in the sky sun and you can move your panel to a position that's most beneficial..

hmm thats worth a thought unless some one takes a fancy to it while your away

I use mine from sunrise until we go out on bikes...then again in the late afternoon...the yeald is amazing compared with flat roof mounted panels..
which I have also...
I don't leave them unattended...🧑‍✈️

On the roof I've 2 x200w Panels from Italy..about 120€ each..one panel tilts..
One Victron mppt controller 100/30

The freestanding panel is 4 section 200w
Has it's own mppt 75/20

More like around 10 amps in ideal conditions so it would be fine

I have a Bailey Autograph 79-4 and in the last few weeks upgraded from the standard 100w to 400w.
Couple things I learned along the way.
Take good measurements of the roof, this will denote what panel size configuration you can have, I selected 2 x Renogy 200W ShadowFlux Anti-Shading. Add on 6cm on each side you'll have mounts.
Upgraded the PWM to an MPPT (Victron SmartSolar 100/20)
The inbuild Banner leisure battery was 100HA, I wanted to upgrade to a 200+, however the Autograph battery tray is made to measure for the Banner, so compromised on a ECO-WORTHY 12V 150AH.
Small parts required to complete the job:
  • Pair of T Connectors (Craig Solar)
  • 2x 5m Solar Cable 4mm2 Extensions With MC4 Plugs (Craig Solar)
  • MC4 Fuse Connector 30A (Craig Solar)
  • Sikaflex 522 Sealant & Adhesive x 3 (Craig Solar)
  • Side Mount Pair 550mm (BLACK) x 4 (2 sets per panel) (Craig Solar)
  • Self taping screws to fix the mounts to the solar
  • Tile spacers 2mm (Watch this video "Bonding Solar Panels" - https://www.youtube.com/@BlueFix)

I'm just an amateur, and found this an ok upgrade to undertake, requires 2 pairs of hands for the panel fixing.
