The West Highland Way comes down to the road at that point then follows the road for a short way on the north side, and there's a car park on the opposite side of the road. Very sad.

Terrible thing to happen. I wonder what the weather / visibility was like at the time.

A friend of mine messaged me earlier as he'd heard this on the news and knew I was up that way with my van ( not sure what he meant by that lol) I'm not as far up as that though but it's a regular haunt of mine.
Its a busy are that with walkers and they are often on the road

My mother was it 2 hour wait as it was sorted out on her way to glencoe ccc site.
Very sad news,
Can you believe people in a car and caravan were actually complaining about haveing to wait.
