This was from my late fathers "stash" I don't drink the stuff. It's been stored in the back of a cupboard for "donkeys" years.

£50..... I can take to the Peterborough Show

@Tykatem
btw Wade is the manufacturer of the ceramic decanter. They're based in Stoke on Trent. They regularly do commemorative decanters (for Bells and others) eg, Christmas, Chuck and Diana wedding, etc.
Given the capacity I'd guess at it being older than mid 1990's. Fairly certain they went through a phased changeover period starting in late 90/early 91 through to 95(?) when the capacity reduced to 70cl (Guess what! Standardisation with EU:rolleyes:).
Sticking my neck out even further here now in that this Wade design started in the mid\late 60's. Can't remember when it changed to "new" shape but think it was before the capacity revision and guessing at mid 80's. So, potentially pushing on c35 year old (minimum).:unsure:
ps, lying it on it's side gets mixed reaction from (y) to :eek: depending who you speak to. One says, great as it keeps the cork moist others say nope, the contents will eventually leach out through the cork.
There you go. A load of useless drivel for you!:)
