The owner does quite a bit of advertising on Facebook. I have seen and read a lot of her comments and replies ( or not) to questions, from which I have formed an opinion........and I won’t be going there. Additionally, it’s well out of the way, nothing within walking distance, and is way more expensive than other Portuguese aires. ( have you ever heard of an aire charging for dogs!)

................Maybe that’s why they keep advertising when all the other Aires are rammed full???

Just my tuppence worth.

Vilamoura and 'Rustic' are words that do not fit together well in my book, the location is outside the town admittedly but direct access onto the N125.

Only ever been to Vilamoura once, seemed completely soul less to me.

Vilamoura & Rustic - as you say surely a classic example of an oxymoron - a bit like Military Intelligence! ;)

I was surprised to see the ad which is why I posted it. In January we drove past it, although I only now recognise it, and thought at the time not such a good place. It would seem my reaction was correct.

i dont know anything about this place so may be way out of order, but it doesnt seem dear to me as these places go, we wouldnt use it but £9 a night is well in line and ordinary aires you mostly have to pay extra for water and electric

We have been there a couple of time and can't fault Anthea/& Gerard great hosts yes they do charge for lots of things but you don't get something that is good today for nothing Also yes it is on the n125 but set back off the road so you don't hear road noise all that much and most importantly it's safe & secure If you want to live like gipsy and rough it and be moved on by the GNR it your choice but don't knock people who are trying to supply something at a reasonable price

Looking at the website again, it may have changed since a year ago but from what I can see it's 10 euros a night for everything.
Can't fault that.
