Victron Smart Solar Query

I have a Victron Smart Solar MPPT fitted by our friends at Vanbitz. My query is that all the sections show readings on the app, Solar Battery etc but the Load output section has never shown a reading other than '0' I have had it, is summat wrong before I disturb them with a call? TIA.

Have you got anything attached to the load output? If you haven't, thats why there is no reading showing.

Which is what I thought, never showed any load output even with every light on TV and 12v fridge and still no load registered.

Load output only shows if something is connected to it. It's an additional output on on the controller and is generally not used. I doubt you have anything connected to it therefore it won't show anything.

That's a different load, not the load when you connect something directly to the MPPT controller.

Not all Victron MPPT charge controllers have a built-in load output function how many terminals do you have 4 or 6, if 6 is there anything connected to the load output terminals

Load output is not normally used.
All your 12v items will be powered by your leisure battery not your solar controller.

If you have nothing connected to the load output on the solar controller, the load output should be turned off in settings, if you need to change that for any reason check the manual because I think you have to remove or change the jumper plug whilst doing it.

Ok thanks all I've got it now. Only 4 terminals and nothing on the 2 Load terminals! I thought the load output on screen was what it was supplying to the battery when there was a draw on it. Probably why it has all been working perfectly since fitted. Yet another school day!
