Hi all, I’m wiring up a smart shunt into my system and just wondered where I put the negative of the DC to DC charger, does that go on the load side of the smart shunt or still direct to the battery ?

See diagram, (original courtesy of caravan chronicles ) and my edits on how I think it should go ?

Also do I then take a positive from each battery into the smart shunt to monitor them individually or will they be monitored as one unit ?

It has to go on the load side else it won't be measured and your stats won't be accurate.
