The issue was the old Orion wasn't very efficient, only about 90%, so there was a lot of waste heat. Other B2Bs did fine with much less cooling because they were typically 95% efficient, so only producing half the heat.

Very nice spec indeed, the VE direct port it’s the sweet much awaited feature, it can integrate in the GX family and have the data in the VRM or console.
Looks like victron listened to the market need, took a while but they got it.
That’s a b2b I would go for, just need to find a retailer yet to sell it.

It's 98.5% efficient, which is very impressive. And the old Orion only ever gave data to say it was on or off. This provides input and output voltages and current and has a charge curve and history. Much better!

Yes my thoughts also - the manual still looks like an early version. Should be "announced" soon I would think.
