Victron & Fogstar - newbie questions

Hi Funsters

Just install a new to me setup of 300Ah Fogstar battery, B2B, Multiplus 2000, shunt and more solar.

The Fogstar battery is showing below SOC

Shunt is showing SOC

Will it take some cycles for these to align or will there always be a difference?

Also what to do with the old charger when plugged into the mains? Disconnect or turn the MCB off?

Once it's up to 100% on fogstar you can then align them in the shunt battery settings or just set SOC on shunt now to match. Once it's done a few cycles then sync again.

Disable old charger is common.
In my RV I have to pull an additional fuse to disable a relay for emergency start (links all batteries together if engine battery gone flat). Unfortunately the same relay behaves like a Battery master and takes surplus charge from leisure to engine battery - not wanted when lipo run at higher voltages.
