Anyone had any issues with the update, just watched a YouTube video and it looks good. Not done mine yet.

I have been using the Beta versions of 3.5 from the start (all the way up to the 43rd update!), no problems at all on a relatively simple van installation, with just a CerboGX, Multiplus II, 2*MPPT, OrionXS, Shunt, Temp Sensor and GPS puck. Now on 3.5-3

I guess if you have larger systems with generator control, ESS, node red doing clever things, managing grid feed in etc it may have had more issues along the way, the beta test forums have highlighted a few things, but mine has been stable all the way through.

Here's the changelog: https://community.victronenergy.com/t/venus-os-beta-series-announcement-and-changelog-v3-50-43/120

If I have an observation the system might be using a tiny bit (0.5w) more power than when it was on 3.4X, but then again I may have a crap connection/crimp somewhere, or the device firmwares might be to blame - there have been a few of those

Thanks Adrian, Yes thought it would be the final release of the beta version. No mine is just for the van like yours, so great I will run the update.

I run venusOS on a raspberryPi connected to a Multiplus, mppt & shunt with no special configuration or fancy features. The upgrade to 3.5 worked perfectly for me, but with all these things ymmv.

I quite like the new gui-v2

After the update I cannot connect via VRM, can anyone help please?

Are you connecting to VRM on the local LAN or through the internet?

Asking because I don't have remote support enabled, and access mainly through the internet so interested in what was your issue.....

Through Internet, so that's strange then?

Yes!

So when you went into VRM.Victronenergy.com did it come up with your instalation, or was it just the remote console that didn't work?

I know there was something on mine that if the victron local screen was set to GUIv2, guiV1 wouldn't work on VRM, but all thats been fixed in 3.50.

Me being Me would just reboot without remote support to see if it has corrected.

But if all is now working, then perhaps not!

When I clicked on the VRM app it came up with a connection error, so not sure? I did reboot and still didn't work, so as a long shot i enabled remote support. I will disable tomorrow and reboot to see what happens- I will let you know

Switched the remote support off, and still working, so I must have done something wrong, only thing I can think of is the WiFi connection defaulted back to one I had disconnected, but I did correct this, but hey working now so happy days.
