If you are in the market for a new motorhome you need to buy before April if you want to avoid the increase as the rates for vehicle excise licence is changing, from April you will pay a new rate of £600 for the first five years.

In that article they can't even get the current VED rates right looks like scaremongering to me.
Probably the industry trying to boost winter sales.
