Hi All
I have been forced down the awning route by my other half. The one I have looked at is the Vango Galli3 Tall. £1150, I know, I know!
Has anybody got experience of these if so what's it like.

thanks for the info. We need it for1 personat least to sleep in. Are they all drive away inflatable. Nice pictures also.
Yes, all driveaway awning, you can see the tunnel attachments on each one with separate access doors, and you can buy inner bedroom liners for most vango awnings too
I have a Galli 3 LOW which I used with our old VW T6. For an extended stay it was brilliant, but...it was heavy, difficult to put up (even though inflatable) and whether packed or erected is absolutely mahoosive. It served us very well as a family of 5 (all adults) but I can't see us using anything like that again. In fact after that holiday we got a much, much smaller poled awning. Nothing wrong with the Galli, just impractical for short stays/use. If you have any specific questions ask away!

Theyre great - we used our for a 3 wk trip around france but mostly, it provides an extra covered space at festivals etc when we might have more than just the two of us along
Easy to put up and use - not something we’d need if just the two of us

Yes, I put it by myself...Bigger and heavier than previous cotton ones I've done! It's a nice awning.

Yup had one took an age to put up but I’m disabled and was struggling with it. Sold it not long afterwards . Don’t pay full price. One will come up for sale soon. Ish. 👍🌟🥃

I've had several Vango air awnings, all bought second hand when people decide they aren't for them.

Our first that we've still got is a original galli low for our VW which we've probably used constantly for 5 year's in all weathers as the VW only really had sleeping facilities in.

Since buying a bigger ducato pvc, I've tried a Kela, a Cruz, a Galli compact and having sold all those have settled on a Cruz 3 which was picked up as totally unused.

While we do like the galli's, especially the way the porch entrance is inline with the vehicle which is ideal for some smaller cmac sites, they are absolutely hugh and far too big for what we need, hence the cruz, which is slightly smaller, so easier to pack, but is at 90 degrees to the van, which has ended up in the hedge on some sites!

This is the kela

This is the galli compact

And the Cruz 3

I had the Kela for my VW it was well made and stood up to rain & wind well BUT, my biggest gripe was the front windows. It could only be used, rolled UP from the bottom!

I got spoiled by an old Caravan awning where, in the evening after dinner, I could sit in the awning, sipping my drink, with the front rolled half-way down from the top of the awning, and chat to passers-by without any draught around my legs and feet or have it in that position, with the fly-screens up and be cooled by a gentle breeze.
