I'm a newbie
Does anyone know if it's possible to download all the records of journeys that the Vanbitz/Meta Trak system stores?
Rather late in the day I'm hoping to start and backdate a Travel log.

Not sure about your tracker but you can have a look on Google at your location history, obviously you need a Google account to start with.

Everything about Google Maps timeline sounds wrong - huge unaccoutable organisation, detailed information about my whereabouts 24/7. But oh so useful!

I think if you log in to your Meta Trak account on line, suggest you use PC or laptop, on left hand side of screen I think it shows your journey route. You can search for dates, to and from and it should list each section. Not sure how far back you can go. Ive done it myself going back 18 months.

Apologies for poor explanation but I could provide more information tomorrow when on my laptop.

Log on to your Meta Trak account, say on your laptop.

On the left hand side of the screen there is an option called 'score'. Click on this. It brings up your journey legs. Click on a leg and it shows it on the map.

I don't know how to export or download it from there

Edit: If you call up the journey leg on the app on your phone then 'share' is an option. So, by sharing it, you can have a picture of the leg on say email or a messaging app. This image can then be copied from email into say a Word document.

Seems to only go back 6 months.

Also it a web based thing, so not downloadable into say Excel, but you could do a screen grab, section by section and download a series of pictures into say Word or Paint.

When I look on my phone I can find journeys right back to when it was installed.

Sort of hijacking the thread but I am going through a process of logging trips initially from 1973, (honeymoon). Triggered by my mother @ 96 not being able to remember all the many adventures they had but now cannot remember! Blimey a lot of information and muddling through but I expect others have got it sorted and I would be interested to hear if there is a simple, comprehensive solution?
Last 10- 15 years the iPhone has auto located where any photos were taken and that translates to a map - simple. Before then SLR photos with no GPS link more of a problem but helped by having 25 years of electronically manually filing of photos. Now I am trawling through old diaries. Going forward I still have goggle tracking on which helps, I have retrospectively posted markers per trip on google 'mymaps'. Will let apple do their thing with photos and having been behind the curve using Polarsteps I will set this up from now on. We also use an electronic diary called 'DayOne' which is brilliant and uses la link with photos and maps but that has only been in place for 10 years. Objective is to consolidate everything into one format! Is this too much a big ask - no-ones going to be interested anyhow and I will only be interested in meals times and my medication! But if you have any solutions...
