Found out on Saturday that whilst the Meta Trak app shows that the Non Starter in our motorhome is armed, the engine still starts & may have been that way since we packed it away last October! Firstly hope this will act as a prompt for others to try turning the ignition on as a double check to what you see on the app. Couldn't get any assistance over the weekend but Meta Trak have checked what they can today so it seems to be a physical fault with the unit. As it'll be expensive to get this checked & a big bill for a replacement unit (it was fitted late 2018 so hadn't expected this) from VanBitz, Mr Wombles has just checked all the fuses following advice from them & no simple fix there. Thought it may be worth asking the Hive mind on here in case anyone has had the same experience & there may something else that we can check or a cheaper fix to consider?

Of course - that was the second call today after Meta Trak as detailed on the first post.
Book it in with them and let them see “what’s what”

Over the phone it’s really hard to diagnose much, and if they installed it eight years ago a lot can happen.

It would be surprising if the unit had failed to be honest, a physical check a “memory dump” and a reboot is often all it takes.

In addition, I think that VanBitz (if they did install it) are the only ones who will know where the actual unit is located. I asked where they'd installed mine and they wouldn't tell me!

I renewed my subscription in December and this seemed to turn the immobiliser and ODB port isolation off. Can’t be 100% sure but never touch the OBD setting, didn’t notice for weeks.

App was updated a few months ago due to battery voltage not showing date and time, are you on the latest version? I’m sure Vanbitz have already been through this but worth checking.

I’d also switch off in the app, re-arm and try again if you haven’t already.

Thank you for your suggestions - have been through everything with a Technical Manager at Meta Trak today but did try everything possible with both apps over the weekend - we were hoping it was just an app related or admin issue but sadly not.
It shows how much we rely on the info on apps hence my suggestion of a physical double check too as it didn't match with what was shown - we could have continued in ignorant bliss for years!

Thanks for your reply Eddie - in the absence of any magic Funster fix (it was a very long shot!) it is booked in for midday next Tuesday - will keep our fingers crossed that there's an easy, affordable solution.
