We've just had our van washed by BP cleaning services and it really shines and looks lovely. I wasn't asked to review or comment but if anyone is thinking of paying someone to wash their van, BP Cleaning Services do a brill job.

£400? For a wash?
Yeah it was quite detailed, it took the paintwork back to shiny you could see scratch marks along the side of the van where trees had marked it and place where I'd used Tcut to get marks out, the list of things they do on it is quite long, as it's nice and clean now I hope to be able to stay on top off all the forthcoming mess.
Someone has referred to it as detailing not washing, I dunno I think it shines nice.

Ok there’s a vast difference between a detail/ paint rectification and a wash, did they use buffers to cut/ polish?

The van shines again, I had a wash kit for Christmas so I'm hoping I can keep it that way.

Wish there were someone my way, North Somerset
You could try this guy did mine a few years ago and did a great job. It was around £100 that was for a wash and wax. Few years ago so price might have increased.

Have been trying to get ours done, sent request to one local , first vacancy is November! Another is now 4 times the price of a couple of years ago, expected an increase but that is taking the P of course if folk are willing to pay it can only be expected. Have asked John's son if he will give us a hand, John was not happy about that, but al has offered before.

Sounds like the £125 I spent on my buffer was well worth it, must admit it does take me a few days. I wash it then Polish it, then Wax it. I do it twice a year.

As you say earlier, big difference between having it detailed and brought back to its best condition and a simple wash and polish, hopefully that is all that is needed next time. My next door neighbour paid around that to have one of his cars bought back to show condition so seems pretty good for a 8m motorhome

Probably too far away, but Dragon Cleaning in Berkshire did a good job on ours at the Newbury motorhome show a while back.

It's not only spending the money, I wouldn't dare to get a buffer on our van, the paint is so thin nowadays. But hopefully I can stay on top off it with my wash and polish.

won't be the M57 if in Manchester, typo maybe.
57 is only Merseyside
Not a typo but maybe I'm wrong, it's a long while since I've been up there, when he told me where the road was busy, I thought he was telling me about the motorway that runs from the M60 towards woodhead through Denton and Hyde, now as I think about it, it's the M67. I've driven many times on that road, but just forgot it. lol old age catching up.
