Unfortunately we have been caught in the motorhome glut. Advertised our Autosleeper last July and dropped the price every month until it eventually sold at the weekend. After selling 13 motorhomes over our 35years this is the first time we've had difficulty attracting a buyer. As everyone will know there's a massive amount of vans out there so selling is very difficult and time consuming. Our buyers know the situation and certainly wanted it for nothing.
Out of curiosity we visited a local dealer on Sunday to check out stock and prices. We were taken by an aclass but our motorhome days are over. The salesperson was like a vampire and after we asked about a discount we were staggered by his offer. Without haggle he dropped it from £74000 to £65000, I wish I'd been looking to buy. It's very tough out there but definitely a buyer's market.
