That's a useful link although as always those who need to read it probably won't.

We are going to the Lakes in September staying at two CMC sites on the edge of the National Park. I've just checked one of the sites (near Lake Windermere) included in that guide and they did have pitches. But they wanted around £70 per night! We'll be sticking with the CMC I think.

Thanks. A useful map to show which routes are relatively easy in a motorhome. It's easy to assume that an A road in the Lakes is easily passable when some you still have to take great care ie Kirkstone pass
