don’t own one yet
Having some upgrades done at Van Bitz, lovely bunch of lads and thoroughly professional, even saves me some money by not having things fitted that weren’t really needed, can’t recommend them enough fantastic

Although I no longer have a Motorhome but a wobble box eddievanbitz while he was working (Now lazing on some beach) was someone that a lot of people looked up to from the business perspective.

Now Vanbitz taken over you’ll find they look after their customers and a lot of business need to look at this company and take note.

Nothing but good words from me.

Are the wonder wipes for wiping the blood from your head when you fall down the open pit? :giggle:

Great company to deal with. Even better now that the grumpy boss has retired to flaunt his budgie smugglers in the South of France:wink: :whistle2:

Got the new van booked in for a full Growler job for early September as soon as we can pick it up

What's your current average lead in period for alarms Ash?
Currently we are booking around a month ahead. If you need specific dates please give me a call when convenient and we can take a look in the diary

Hi Ash, we have a Battery Master but it doesn’t seem to keep the engine battery topped up. Fitted by our dealer during an annual service but has never seemed to work despite them checking it. We are thinking of replacing it and getting an additional solar panel plus a fixed air con unit as we are going to be using the MH in Spain. Is this something we can get done by you and how long would it take to get an appointment and to do the work?

AshVanBitz Is at the Stratford show so he may not see this, so I’ve tagged him for you.

Morning tap6699, this definitely is something that we can help you with. We are currently booking around a month ahead but on occasions we do get earlier dates that become available due to vehicle delays etc. If you are happy to PM your best contact number, I will give you a call when I am back in the office Monday morning.

Vanbitz put in my solar panel, B2B, inverter and Gaslow system. I can only say how impressed I was with the work, the staff and the after sales help from Ash. The overnight at Cornish Farm was great too!

My motorhome is with James, Ash’s brother, in Battle at the moment. He has been looking after it for years. It great when you find someone you can trust.

Its a bit dodgy leaving the pit uncovered right behind that stepladder
It is only a bit dodgy when customers ignore our multiple signs stating “no entry” and aimlessly wander around and sneak up on my staff unannounced. Besides from that it is perfectly safe. We can walk around our workshop with our eyes closed as we have done it so many times ;)

Lol , it’s never safe
My Auntie fell down one despite having worked at the garage forever !

Have you considered fitting 360 camera systems yet?. I know Eddie wasn't keen but just thought I'd enquire in case of a change of position.

I am so sorry fordsabroad I completely missed your question.
Currently I am not doing any reversing cameras. The quality of the Dometic cameras in my opinion have dropped massively and are no longer justifiable for the money, and I have not found another product that I would feel happy putting the Van Bitz reputation along side.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Another big thumbs up for AshVanBitz I have had Vanbitz fit various bits and bobs to my last 3 vans, first class workmanship. Only this week I had an issue with the strikeback alarm, a quick email to Ash and he got straight back with instructions how to sort it out, top man (y)

Linus did an interesting video about the internals of dash cams (which are similar to reversing cameras). Quite a few people don't like his style or personality but the content is accurate and he is well respected in the industry.

Worth a watch if you are curious about the internals of dash cams and why you can't get a really good one.

Hi Ash, I'm new on here. I need to increase battery capacity on my 2022 Hymer Free S 600 (Mercedes Sprinter) and having read up about Lithium, advantages of EFL batteries etc etc I am totally confused - admittedly not difficult when it comes to these matters !!! My current 95Ah AGM battery lasts about a day, due mostly to my 90l fridge/freezer box I think and we desperately need to extend this. Would be great to have your views /quote for the work, should/can I pm you? Thanks Rowland

Until you sign up to become a paid member [well worth the £20] you can't pm anyone
I would have thought making a quick call to VanBitz would be your best starting point.
