From 1st January 2026 drivers who need to warn others of an emergency on the roads in Spain will have to use a warning light device which includes a connectivity system! Meaning that warning triangles will become a thing of the past.
These beacons will send details of the vehicle’s location to DGT 3.0 every 100 seconds.

How will this impact motorhome and caravan motorists?

Where on earth did you get that from?

This was announced in about 2020. No idea how to put one on a mororhome as the device has a magnet to attach to a vehicle roof. My motorhome roof is not magnetic. The idea is you can put them on the roof of a broken down vehicle without getting out.

Ah, you mean the emergency warning light. Yes, had one of those in the Jag for ages - never used it. For the moho I guess we will need a metal pole or similar? Not too worried about that for now to be honest. They'll change their minds again soon.
