Getting better
I have a Mopeka sensor and a Gasit system with one 11kg bottle. It is impossible for me to lift the fitted bottle high enough to remove or place the sensor (even just sliding my hand underneath the bottle). I don’t want to disconnect the bottle each time (or at all!). Any ideas or possible alternatives please?

The sensor is magnetically attached to the bottom of your cylinder and that does a good job to keep it there. When fitting I slide the cylinder out a bit and lean it towards the van a bit untill I have got enough room to put it on. After that you only have to redo it when the battery goes flat. To limit doing that set it to read the level at 10 seconds interval, not the 3 seconds it is set at the factory. All in the instructions.

Thanks. I’ve tried to do it that way, but can’t even feel the current one. May have to order a new one and try again!

I can't understand your comment about feeling the existing one. Can't you slide something in to try to slide it out?

I suggest you disconnect the cylinder altogether and lift it out. Stick the sensor on the centre of the bottle then reinstall.

Thanks. The way that the bottle has been installed allows very little movement.

Why do you need to keep doing this. I fitted mine about two years ago, and have never had to touch them since.

I have had it for years but not used it for ages as I couldn’t change the battery.
