Use of generator

My Italian isn’t up to that. Sign language may help but my life advisor is so far banning me from communication 🤷‍♂️
A heafty bang on his door and some choice anglo saxon swear words will get the message across, no need for google translate

For the weight of a petrol generator, you can carry some very useful LiFePO4 batteries.

and,, maybe, make freinds, not create enmies.

I have helped people by turning their generator off for them in the past, if communication has failed.

Just casually go and turn it off.
He'll get the message eventually
Wouldn’t be the first spark plug cap I’ve pulled off an HT lead and thrown over a hedge 🙄😇

Etiquette question here: is it acceptable to use a generator on a crowded Aire at bedtime? Asking for a friend….
If it’s an aire, then it’s “abroad”. Their rules I guess.

If it's an Italian in France, in my experience they do just what they want and have zero concern about how anyone else is affected. Indeed if anything, total distain.

Parking two of their vans in the middle of an aire and disappearing for hours trapping a Dutch couple in who had to get out to get to a weddiing! Emptying toilets cassettes in the wash up sinks rather than walk an extra 20 feet. Parking across the noses of three vans on another aire so no-one could get out and refusing to move despite being in their van. Taking up spaces on an aire with tables and chairs and refusing to move them even for the French until teh latter called the gendarme. I could go on.

Surely not ALL Italians?
Only in my experience. I have known some extremely well who are nothing like that. Good and bad in all. It just seems that those with motorhomes have an attitude problem.
