Urgent solution please

Hi guys
Can you advise if there is a way to isolate the kitchen tap , microswitch blew have repalced it . Piece of plastic broken inside tap it now leaks when i use the bathroom tap .. should be going to festival tomorrow wife not happy ! I know i need a new tap but can it be isolated its a 8 month old campervan with a reich keramic tap ... many thanks hope it makes sense

I think you would have to disconnect the supply pipes and cap them off somehow. If the pipes are flexable hose you could clamp them to stop water flow.

Isolated electrically or plumbing ?

Electric - pull fuse or remove wire from microswitch terminal
Plumbing - put a G clamp on the flexible pipes

If the hose to the tap is plastic with a jubilee clip you will have to take it off and plug it with a blank

put a photo of the hose for a definative answer as i looked up your tap and it looked like flexible hose fitting

Thankyou lenny much appreciated.. its all i could think of but i aint the brightest ! Two on tour thankyou its just when i use the bathroom tap it immediately gushes out the kitchen tap ...

They are flexible pipes so clamping hopefully would stop any leaks , i will try and source a tap tomorrow .. also a contortionist to fit it ! Many thanks for prompt replies

You might get away with just replacing the cartridge, (pending size), but a photo of the tap would help, and where it is leaking from.

Is the bottom of the plastic pipe an isolation value by chance? Not quite able to see in the photo. It looks like the tails of you tap pipes are screwed onto something. If so you could put a blanking cap on there as a temporary measure. If the pipe is push fit below you could add a stop end as someone showed above.
Looking at you latest photo you will be able to remove the spring clips and add a stop end for a temp fix

Screwfix sell those, likely to be 10mm in size. But if a flexible pipe then as Lenny HB suggests, just bend it back on itself and use something like a Jubilee clip to keep it folded back. If there still a small leak stuff the end in a jar and empty occasionally. :)

Irs a festival use bottled water boil kettle to wash and smell
Go and enjoy yourselves it's only water how long are you away for fit it when you get back 💪
Be brave go for it it will still be better than a tent

thanks for all the suggestions , as lenny said i will bend and clamp so hopefully the wife can wash ! Will search for new tap hopefully pick one up tomorrow somewhere .. thanks again much appreciated .

@nanniemateits camperjam festival at weston park , going tomorrow until sunday , no major prob they have porta showers i believe .

Do a bucket wash in the van before using them yuk.

As Nanniemate suggested go enjoy yourselves, its a festival , smell if you have to or get up early and queue for the showers. Just immerse yourselves in the festival atmosphereand be thankful you have proper beds to go to. `Enjoy (y)

Don't forget if it rains use the soap 🌧️🧼 natures shower and if your modest wear a cossie 👙
