We have recently upgraded to a Morelo Palace and are considering the V B active air system.

We already have full air suspension - the active air add on is purely to try and combat the skittishness in cross winds and roll when changing lanes.

There was a similar post on here in 2019, but everyone was asking the same question as now because no-one had taken the plunge from full air - to the Active Air suspension.

Any insights would be really appreciated before we shell out £7,000 (as that’s a lot of bottles of wine!)

I would have thought if the vehicle was supplied with air suspension it would be an active system , that is the case with US RVs ? I would add that I suppose it depends what chassis the Morelo is on .

Martin funflair has it.
He has👍 I didn’t think it was £7k just for the active damper bit once you have the full air though, unless it’s gone up a lot like everything else, TheBraves it will do what you want it to do👍 go for it, yes it will still catch the wind as it is a big vehicle but lane changes wobbles through road works and general pitching will be improved, we ordered it from the factory so only got the after but I know others who have retrofitted and said “night and day”.

The suspension is stand alone to the damping, in the sense of the VB active air system on the IVECO daily chassis the active part is active damping.

On the Morelo price list the active damping is €5495 so I would expect it to be less as a retrofit as the factory options are usually expensive.
