Upgrade to ducato brakes

Hi as in the title looking for upgrade to my ducato brakes I tow a fair bit and although my brakes are in good condition I am sure they can be improved been looking and doesn't seem to be anything around so hoping someone on here knows

If you are on the light chassis it should be possible to upgrade to maxi hubs & discs but you would also have the change the wheels.
How easy to do I don't know but it's standard on the light chassis with the 9 speed auto box, it adds about 40kg to the weight.

Probably if you check the wheel PCD that will tell you. 118mm on standard light, 130mm on maxi.

That's news to me too. I'd be interested once you have measured, albeit I have the heavy chassis.

Different pads can make a difference as well. Pads are a balance between effectiveness and wear rate.

Lenny HB & dash300 Finally got around to measuring my 22 Ducato with Auto 9 speed box and Fiat alloy wheels fitted as standard. The PDC was the 130mm, once I googled how to read it , so I must have the Maxi brakes and whilst the chassis can take almost 4000kg it is not the Maxi chassis and plated at 3.5t. Thanks for the help/info. Roy
