Yes, you need to show your card and it needs to be current. I gave last years card in error and had to search to find current one as they would not give discount without seeing it.

Caravan and Motorhome Club members can benefit from great discounts when towing a caravan or camping trailer, or driving a motorhome.

Non-members who use the M6toll with a vehicle that is towing a caravan, folding caravan or folding camping trailer, or driving a motorhome would normally pay the class three or class four/five toll fee.

Caravan and Motorhome Club members can benefit from paying the discounted price that is equal to a class two car toll fee.

• This offer is only available to members with a valid membership card. If the card has expired at the time of travel, members will not receive the membership discount. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist members with an expired card in receiving the discount.
• This offer is only available to members paying by sterling cash or credit/debit/fuel card.

How to claim your discount

Where available, you should use the manual attended lanes that show the attended sign above the lane. You should hand your valid Caravan and Motorhome Club membership card to the M6toll staff before making any cash or card payment.

To claim the discount at an un-manned both, members should press the assistance button before making payment to claim the discount.

If you choose to pay by credit/debit/fuel cards, you have the option to use the automatic lanes that display the card or green arrow sign above the lane. To claim the discount, press the assistance button before making payment.

Terms and conditions

• For Caravan and Motorhome Club Members to benefit from the discounted toll fee equal to a class two (car) fee. Members must be driving a vehicle towing a caravan or caravan/camping trailer alternatively driving a motorhome.
• Members must produce a valid Caravan and Motorhome Club membership card for verification prior to making any payment; failure to do so may result in overpayment which is not refundable.
• Members can benefit from the discount toll price when using toll lanes with the manual attended sign or an automatic card lane or green arrow sign above the entrance of the toll lane.
• This offer is only available when paying by sterling cash or credit/debit/fuel card at toll lane level. M6toll Tag customers must use a manual attended lane in order to qualify for this discount.

I noticed the other day the M6 Toll prices have gone up. Class 2 (ie cars, or MHs with a C&MC card) is £6.40 weekdays - I think it was £5.90 until the end of July. Not sure how they justify a rise of nearly 8.5%

I think 2012 was the last increase (six years ago) for HGVs so perhaps >8% is justified....
