Driving outside the UK​

If your number plate includes the UK identifier with the Union flag (also known as the Union Jack), you do not need a UK sticker.

Not in France but…………..


If you’re in Spain, Cyprus or Malta, you must display a UK sticker no matter what is on your number plate.

If you have a GB sticker, cover or remove it before driving outside the UK.

I have seen motorhomes in the past displaying the country letters sticker of every country they have visited. I find it difficult to believe that there would be a problem displaying both the UK sticker and a GB one (to indicate you are not from Ukraine)
Does anyone have a link to the actual regulations, as opposed to the ,frequently inaccurate, UK government guidelines?
