Just as an aside ..... has anyone ever know any kind of restrictions on pet travel during FMD restrictions? Would be horrendous to be away and find out they were no longer allowing Fido to cross the boarder to get home.

Hopefully all of those who think laws such as angles mortes signs don't apply to them will adhere to this.

Sadly it is not uncommon for some to feel that such a ban is an infringement of their freedom of choice and will actually choose to go against it as a point of principle.

Perhaps they should be forced to spend a day on a farm during a F&M cull and have their passports cancelled.

We normally bring cheese back, along with beer and wine, plus we may well have left over milk, butter, etc in the fridge - basically stuff we haven't used up. I imagine most people do the same.

Having seen the effects of the F&M epidemic we definitely don't want to see a repeat so we'll follow the rules. If they're going to check every vehicle that will take some time.
