I've just purchased a 16" TV/DVD player for our Burstner Lyseo 680G. My partner was adamant that we didn't need one as she is happy to play Scrabble on those nights where the weather keeps you in and it's too far to walk to the pub. However, it's a must for me as I need something to keep the Scrabble in the overhead locker, what with her brain being the size of a planet and me currently on a 17-0 losing streak. The tv comes with leads for both 240v and 12v. Now, the Burstner has a few UK 12v sockets fitted but for some unscrupulous reason the one by the TV is a German 12v socket (or at least a non UK one). Basically it's a smaller diameter. Burstner happen to supply a German (?) 12v adaptor (I have a photo but having trouble uploading pics at moment). Unfortunately there appears to be a loose connection inside as the power is intermittent and it appears unserviceable (certainly by me!😒). My question is, does anyone know what words I need to enter in fleabay to find a replacement? I've tried all sorts but can't seem to find anything and I would rather not pay the likely extortionate fee from a MH dealer for one. Before anyone asks, I've tried all the combinations and know 100% it's the German adaptor that's failty

The sneaky Hella socket has caught you out - they are actually better than the standard cig 12v socket as they lock in position I think.

It's a Hela plug, got one the other week for my tv, also you can get one with cig lighter socket on the other end, handy for charging phone .

Unfortunately nothing will help with my Scrabble skills when coming up against The Brain. On her side, A Degree and a Masters (and I'm not talking about Media Studies! 😁). My side is armed with with a Bronze Swimming Certificate! Once she breaks open the Scrabble I'm a broken man!

"Hella plugs and sockets are far superior."

I am in the process of changing all mine to hella din plugs and sockets.

But they all seem to be made in China (lenny)

Doesn't sound very buoyant. No wonder you are being beaten.
