Please excuse my ignorance and I apologise if these questions have been asked before. I am thinking of changing all four tyres. Do motorhomes need balancing and wheel alignment like cars? Companies like Kwik fit and ATS say my 3650t 3m high van will not fit on their alignment rigs. Does anybody know of a tyre dealer in North Essex who has the equipment to perform these tasks. How do the mobile guys do this ?

Wheel alignment shouldn't need doing unless you're in the habit of hitting kerbs etc with some force and the inside or outside couple of inches over the circumference of the tyre are excessively worn compared the the centre of the tread.
Tyres always need balancing no matter what the vehicle.

As said. I wouldn’t get alignment done unless you have a need for it, and even then I’d be very choosy where I get it done, and it would be at a Kwikfit or ATS type place.

But yes the wheels very much need balancing, and make sure you get the correct tyre valves fitted, especially if you run high tyre pressures.

Wheel balancing is done off the vehicle so anywhere with a balancing rig can do it..
Wheel alignment, yes vehicle needs to fit into rig but not normally necessary unless your front tyres worn unevenly which 'could' indicate tracking needs doing...
