Hi, me again.. I think my tyre pressure may be a little low but am reluctant to just rock up at a pressure spot at a garage as I'm not sure if they are just for cars; up to 40 for example.

My tyres should 72(front) and 79(back). Please don't ask me about bar/psi or somesuch!!

I would be worried if I tried to check them and the pressure doesn't go that high I'll just be letting more air out as I check.

Should I be using a truck stop (assuming they have air sited at these places)? Currently in Czchia heading to Poland tomorrow so could stop along the services on the motorway.

Buy a pump, I use cheap Chinese had it years. Accurate enough but if you are particular a nice Ring pressure gauge will help.
Just make sure that it is capable of pressures well beyond 80psi, and that it's built to cope with the volume of van tyres.

Thanks for that! I do have a little pump with me but didn't think it would be 'strong enough' but the side does say 250 PSI max so I'll have a go with that.

It may not be powerful enough but worth a try.

If it isn't there are various alternatives out there and a number of Funsters, including us, have this https://www.ringautomotive.com/en/product/rac900

Here’s a good tip, start the pump before you attach it to the tyre as the pump may not be strong enough to overcome the pressure already in the tyre.
