tyre inflator

Another vote for Makita, great kit especially if you have other Makita products

The Ducato Owner's Manual tells you where to connect jump leads. You need to lift a small plastic cover for one of the clips.Hi SpeedyDux

I used to use the Ring RAC 900 but it takes much longer to use than a cordless inflater. It also takes up quite a lot of locker storage space.
Hi SpeedyDux.
This . Plastic cover, coupled with the fact you have to take a floor panel out to access the batteries if you don't do that, made me go for the Ring RAC900 ( Overkill ) But being as you have to have the engine running and the (Un) Comformatic g/box saying " 5 mins running in a traffic jam..." i went for this.
Pull car up behind the unit with the engine running ( There is that much cable and airline it can do all four corners from the car)...) get set up and away we go.
Emergency ..........Hope thats one story i don't have to tell. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: (y) (y)
It is a good bit of kit and heavy, would i buy it again......... Yes.

They are the same diameter shrader end.
The difference is.....
#1 on HP the brass core goes all the way along the length of the valve.....on a regular valve its around ½ to ⅔.
#2 on HP the rubber part inside the tyre is far larger than a regular valve so needs a far higher pressure to blow it out and as the core passes right through its far more rigid and uncompressable than a regular valve.
Both fit in a standard 19mm wheel hole.
A standard pump will fit both.
Thats what I was getting at , also there are hp valves with a internal metal flange and rubber seal washers that can only be fitted with tyre removed going in from inside and secured by nut from outside :)
