I remember some time ago some one asked what was the best tyre inflater to use on the motor home, ( cant find the thread) mine was supposed to be heavy duty but takes a long long time to inflate my tyres up to 65-70 psi any recomendations /suggestions? also the standard lead is not long enough to reach the rear of van so i extended it with a longer lead.?apart from the length of time the compressor works ok.

I bought a Ring RTC4000 and have been impressed with performance sofar.

I have gone with Milwaukee

Ring are popular and I also use an Einhell Pressitto that runs off battery or mains.

I extended the 12v lead on mine to reach the rear wheels in my 32ft RV.
The volt drop was such that the compressor stalled at 60 psi.
Extending the hose meant the air withing the hose just moved back and forth and couldn't build enough pressure to force it into the tyre.

I use a makita 181. I used to use a 180, but now leave that at home for the car tyres - the 181 is more powerful.
