I use a silent one similar to this at home. The tyres lose about 10psi a year so no need to take it with us.

I carry this, both in the car boot and then into the van. Easily achieves my 80psi requirements.

After advice on here I bought a Vonhaus cordless inflater.
Used it a couple of times and it works well.

Many options, but I bought into the Einhell system a while ago, so have a chainsaw, reciprocating saw, strimmer, work light and tyre inflator which uses their batteries.

The tyre inflator works pretty well. Not sure how to do pictures here but it's of the type that you see everywhere - battery slots in underneath.

A topical subject for me as I need a replacement. I bought one from Lidl for about £15 a couple of years ago which has been brilliant for the MH/cars/ bikes/ footballs but unfortunately the tubing has perished. I have various Bosch batteries so I was thinking of just getting the Bosch inflator body at c£60.

If you already have elements of a cordless ‘system’ then undoubtedly that’s the way to go.

On the moho alone I have Milwaukee battery powered vacuum cleaner, soldering iron, torch, screwdriver, rattle wrench and tyre inflator, with their 12v charger on permanent supply in the garage. Add to those the other tools and appliances at home and work and it was a no brainer.

I purchased the Ryobi one as I had a battery from other Ryobi Tools.

Easily gets to 80psi stops when it reaches the pressure set.

So far so good
