It’s quite nice inside, nice little staircase up to the top!
Don’t know how it will endure the elements though🤷‍♂️🤔

No good where we have been, every ‘Pop top’ we saw was closed down due to the storms and high winds, must make for interesting sleeping arrangements whikst the storms raging 🙀🤪🤪🤪

I think it uses inflated air pockets to raise the roof. Should be thermally reasonable and a lot stiffer in the wind than a fabric pop-top. It shares more in common with one of those inflated stand up paddle boards than it does with a tent.

I don't see why not on an aire. No different to pop top vw van. Not taking any more space. I'd certainly prefer this ( if I had to share my car van with more than one other person - which thank God I don't!) To having a drop down bed.

i like it, do i want one, no but i love to see new ideas and wonder where the ideas will lead to in the future?

it still presents (or seems to) the issue of climbing over each other to get in or out of bed !

Great concept, looks reasonably well screwed together, but wonder how long it would be in our wonderful winters, for the black speckled mould to form and also, just how well can you insulate the material.

Not for me thanks chef, I’m stuffed full of an AT 😀👍🏻

Would you get away with using this on an Aire or wild parking in Spain?
no reason you couldn't use on an aire or camper stop..

no idea about "wild parking", is that not illegal in Spain now.. or at least being clamped down on ?

anyways..

I like the concept.. but the van has no decent lounge space.. just a dinette with two captains chairs.. so a no no from me

I cannot see any other bed in the van except maybe the dinette, if it is only a 2 berth then it seems over designed IMHO

Stupid staircase is taking a lot of usable space.
Another bench could go there.
Also, whoever gets the driver's seat is going to need very long arms to reach a plate of food on the table.
It looks cramped too.

Stairs are easier than a ladder. It's not in the corridor. It's using space to enable access to upstairs. I think it's a reasonable compromise.

I suspect the table will slide across so the side sofa can be used and so the driver can reach better.

Overall, I'm not sure if it's a massively better solution than an a-class with a drop-down bed.

It may be a new for 2023 model but this concept has been available from Burstner for a few years now .
