TV port

Hi there, new to all this so apologies in advance for the stupid questions.

We have just got our new motorhome. It came with a 12v satellite, aerial port. The power is live but, (now for the stupid question) is there a exit point on the roof or do I need to get something installed? If so what? Or would it be a cable through the window sort of thing.

Some campsites have a TV aerial and/or satellite outlet on the hookup post, so it might be intended for that. Also some people use a satellite dish on a tripod, especially in hotter areas where pitches are shaded by trees.

If you mean an outlet near a possible TV position, probably there will be a cable already installed, that goes to a cupboard next to the roof. Exactly where is dependent on the exact make/model, so if you post that info someone might know. Or you could start a new thread with that make/model in the title, might get noticed more
