I have a tv aerial fitted to my new Autotrail van. It is a manufacturers fit. They say they did not fit it.It was the dealer. The dealer says they did not fit it. It came ready fitted to them.I cannot find the make of the aerial as there are no makers marks on it. The body of the aerial is square with rounded corners and it incorporates a non removeable pinnacle taking the overall height to 8.5inches. My problem is that when I tried to get the mh into the car port it hit the aerial. The official height of the mh is including aerial 8ft 7in. The height of the carport at its lowest level is 9ft My previous mh which went into the carport was an autocruise rhythm overall height 8ft 11in. I had to cut the cable and undo the difficult clamp to get the mh out. I have the mounting foot taped up at the moment . My problem is where do I go from here?

Yes, need a photo.
I just spent some time searching hundreds of images and not one was square with a pinnacle.
Only the old Status 315 and newer 350/355 came anywhere near....and that's circular.

If removing the pointy bit and sealing the resulting hole would all clearance under you car port you can do so. The pointy bit contains the FM aerial which is not used for TV reception. I don't think anyone makes a lower profile TV aerial. A Status aerial with raising pole would probably work though - its pointy FM part simply unscrews.
