I have a fixed roof aerial that can be manually moved in all directions. How do I know where the nearest TV mast is so I can point it the best way? Is there a decent app maybe?

Our aerial has a little signal strength gizmo inside the van. I just keep turning slowly until the light turns green.I have a fixed roof aerial that can be manually moved in all directions. How do I know where the nearest TV mast is so I can point it the best way? Is there a decent app maybe?
Ooh I will have a check for one, thank youOur aerial has a little signal strength gizmo inside the van. I just keep turning slowly until the light turns green.
If yours is like mine, it should be just beside where the pole is located in the wardrobe - follow the cable. There is also a winder to turn the blade from horizontal (traveling mode) to vertical (sometimes required for some signals). It’s best yo raise the pole as high as possible before searching - and remember to retract and flatten it before traveling.Ooh I will have a check for one, thank you![]()
It was tricky this weekend as the site we were on wasn't near any houses and the other campers were in tents or campervans with no aerials so we had nothing to copy. I've just downloaded what look like a rather nifty little app though for 99p called AntennaFinderLook at any house aerials nearby.
Theyll give you an idea which way.
