I have an Autotrail Tracker and the Truma waste water alarm keeps going off even when we know the tank is nowhere near full.
I realise that these sensors are notoriously unreliable and require regular cleaning so I don’t need advice about how to do that. What I’d really like to know is how can I disable the alarm?
I believe there may be a way of going into “Settings” and disabling it. Can someone talk me through it, as it were?
I’d be grateful as I am becoming sleep deprived with the damn thing going off in the early hours of the morning!🙃

You may find that turning the water pump power switch off at night will also turn the level alarm off for now . (depending on your Sargent PSU/control panel type)
If you have a Sargent EC500/EC480 system the advance (dealer) settings for turning the water level alarm off can be be found on page 3 of Manuals for Motorhome stuff in the Resources section (found at the bottom of this page)

Lenny HB and GeoffnDee - Thank you for taking the time to reply. To be honest, we now have another irritating problem with a broken satellite dish, plus a broken Remis blind so I’m not sure which problem to tackle first, but we’ll eventually get around to it.

As long as the sat dish is down and the van is driveable I would put that at the bottom of the list.
What is wrong with the blind?

The satellite dish keeps blowing fuses when we try to put it up. It’s never been reliable in the five years we’ve had it and the company that makes them, NZSAT, have tried fixing it every time we cross over to the North Island, that’s about once a year. We are giving them one more chance. They “fixed it” a week ago when we first got to the North Island and it’s stopped again.
The Remis blind on the driver’s door has had to be replaced. We tried to fix it ourselves without luck. These parts are hard to find in NZ so we took the plunge and replaced the whole blind when we found a dealer that had one.
Thanks for your concern. You are very kind with the help you offer Funsters. I might come back to you for advice on how to disconnect the waste water sensor.
