Hi- I hope it's ok to ask but I want to update my Truma CP to the iNet x panel. I have the panel and thought it would be a simple plug and play.... When I removed the original net panel, there are two data cables connected to the back. One is from the truma e boiler and the other from an truma aventa air conditioning unit. However the new iNet X panel only has one data connection. I looked at the boiler and could see a spare data port on it- should I connect the air con data plug to the boiler and the boiler to the panel? I Cant find anything at all online that explains it.
Thanks

You can buy a splitter dongle which plugs into the port at one end and has two sockets at the other end.

thank you! that won't cause any issues like the two items conflicting their data through one port?

Apparently not - probably uses some sort of networking protocol in which devices have unique identifiers and take turns to talk to the panel.

amazing! I wish I had asked this earlier today as I spent my morning resigned to having to route a wire around the van so have dismantled loads of panels seeing where I could run wiring- wise lesson learner and splitter ordered! thank you!

I feel your pain! I would have offered you my splitter as I didn't use it in the end because I fitted a Dometic aircon rather than a Truma model. Problem is I left it plugged into the control panel and it's not very easily accessible, as due to its position the new panel was a very tight fit even after enlarging the aperture the CP+ came out of.

thats very kind of you. you would think they would include splitters if they say it can connect to other devices. thank you so much for your help. I will wait for it to come before going back into the bomb site to put it all back in order I think!
