Truma heating

Morning, we are on EHU and want to us the heating and water on electric, but there is no electric icon on my truma inet. Any ideas?

You probably have a gas only boiler.

We are connected, we are using the electric kettle and lighting. It's 10amp.

As said it looks like a gas only boiler you only tend to get the electric option on Brit vans, it's an option on others.

Not worth worrying about as it's naff on electric, 2 x 900 watt elements compared to 6kw on gas & gas is cheaper than electric in use.

Thanks, my last Spanish van was gas only. The site is electric inc, so I thought i would try it.

Is it a truma 4 or 4e or 6 or 6e. The e has 240v ac option. If it is the e version check your consumer unit for a tripped breaker.

Even if tripped, or even not plugged in to EHU they should still get the electric symbol next to gas bottle in top row..

Not in a "gas only" Truma combi heater unit.

put the truma numbers from the boiler in google to double check. If it its a 6e etc....we can help further

Indeed... the point i was making, was, if it is a 4e or 6e it should have electric
symbols in top line of display regardless of whether van is plugged in or a breaker had tripped..
As it does not its fair to assume its gas only.

If you turn your knob to highlight the gas bottle do you not get an option then? I’m sure that’s his mine works.

What mines looks like, not plugged in and yes irnbru highlight the gas bottle/leccy symbol gives you option of gas/leccy or mix of both.
