Hi this is the first time we have been out in freezing conditions in our Chasson flash 20. 2014 model We have noticed that when we turn on the pump it is dumping water underneath. I am presuming/hoping this is the dump valve on the water heater. Can anyone tell me where this is located and how to close it please? Thanks

I would first look for where the water comes out on the van. It should be above that on the inside. It’s often on the floor near the boiler or near the pump. I don’t have your version of van. Hopefully someone will be a long soon. Good luck

There are two types of frost protect valve, don't know which type your van has, but it will be near the boiler as stated previously, here are the two types of valve

I had a chausson flash 5 and it was in the lower part of the wardrobe floor.

If it's the old type valve you will be able to keep it in the up / close position with a peg or similar.
If its the new type with the blue button you can use some tape or wedge it.
This is the new version

I have exactly the same problem at the moment, but I can't see a dump valve that looks like anything mentioned here. I will just go and have a read of the very badly written general handbook, which of course is only in French, but hopefully there will be a picture.

As some other Funster has said the dump pipe on the underside will not be far from the actual boiler.Trace that back...
Is it a Truma...?

Found it hidden under a drawer ! It is an old fashioned toggle valve. All okay now (y)
