Hey folks!

Been having some trouble with the Truma in my 2005 Euramobil for the last few months and need to get it looked at by an engineer.
The boiler is no longer supported by Truma, so they have suggested that I try and find a third-party engineer that can help or install a new Truma. I'd prefer to have this boiler fixed (if possible).

Here is the boiler model that I have:

Here is a video showing the problem and things that I've tried to get it working:

Please let me know if anyone has any recommendations of "good" engineers you've worked with that I can try.

Thanks in advance!

My local MCEA Network still repairs older stuff or in my case showed the cost of a new Propex heater was the same as new old stock and repair of an old Carver. See what your local member has to say (of the MCEA).

Shout out for a good Truma Engineer

I did a write up about Truma 4E in the Resources section but yours is a lot older so I found the above posted by someone else who raved about them who might be able to help you. Click on the blue text above for the details.

Have a look at theTruma website - there are a number of mobile engineers listed on their approved list

Search for mobile Habitation services in your area and then check if they can help.

Cheers 🍻

This boiler you cant get the parts it no more, I've got a few parts from a old boiler if needed. We have fitted a replacement Truma boiler in a few motorhomes now, the combi 4e fits well.

I recently had work done by this guy and he knows exactly what to look for/test for but he’s in Cannock and you have to remove the boiler and take it to him.
Mine was an older C3402 boiler.
Highly recommend

Thanks for the suggestion. I might need to get a new boiler fitted if I can't get the current one going. :)

Have a chat with him. I’d be confident he’ll get it going again. Lovely man and you can watch him doing his magic.
Not cheap but it’s no win no fee principle and a hell of a lot less hassle/expense than replacing
